About:Urumqi Weather

Hi, I shall be going to North Xinjiang in Mid September 2016. will I see the colours of autumn?

Some of places in the itinerary include Hemu Village, Bayanbulak Grassland, Nalaty grassland, and Swan Lake Nature Reserve. I suppose the grasslands wil have turned brown. Please enlighten me.

Yes, it actually shall be the best timing to enjoy the fall scenery, especially in the nature reserve. The grasslands would start to turn brown then, but generally are stil worth your time. Have fun!

Every year change color time is a little different , depends on snow or cold coming time . normally changing color is end of September ,start about 20th ,Sep. In September grassland will dry and not green anymore .
