About:Beijing Taxi

I reached beijing on dec 3 around 2am

Can i know if a family of 5 including 1 kid with 1 big size luggage and 3 hand carry luggage can fit in 1 taxi and how much the taxi fare would be from airport at 2am to dongsi subway station? And anyway i can book the taxi online?

One taxi can hold four people at most, so you are advised to hire two taxis. Each taxi costs around CNY 120 for that ride. To book a taxi, you may call at 86-96103 in advance. But generally speaking, there will be taxis waiting for passengers whenever you arrive at the airport ad it is not necessary to book one in advance.

120 yuan is ok, i just worry if those taxi driver would bring us the long way round so that he could earn more since we are foreigners.

To avoid being robbed by the driver, get on the taxi from the official airport taxi stand where many people wait. Before getting off, take the bill so you can lodge a complaint , just in case you got 'robbed'.
Actually, this kind of thing seldom happens nowadays, especailly in large cities ad in hot places like airport and railway stations.

Of course it will. Cab service is available for 24h in the city and most drivers would stop by the airport intending to get long-distance travel.
