Business visa for 3 people

Hi - we have been invited to visit a factory in China and are expected to go pre-xmas.
Is it possible for me to come to your office with 3 applications and passports or do you need to see each person individually. We will all be travelling together. What else do we need to bring as I am reading many conflicting things on the web and roughly how long will it take to get the entry permit.
