About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Would the 72h Visa-free Transit apply to this trip

Hi,
would the 72h free Transit work for German citizen flying from Taipei to Beijing, stay there for 2 days and then fly to Shanghai for one day and fly back to Switzerland?

Thanks in advance

Hello, Dolores, I’m afraid you are not eligible for the 72 hour free transit because you stop over in Beijing and Shanghai, while the 72 hour policy states that the passenger can only transit in one Chinese city.
