Can you advice where shall I alight to take train from shanghai to Beijing to visit Great Wall?

You will get off at Beijing South Railway Station by high speed train. Badaling Great Wall is the most famous section near Beijing. If you intend to visit it, take metro line 4 from the South Railway Station to Xizhimen Station. Then, walk to the North Railway Station, and take a train to Badaling directly.1

Thank you.. I'm planning to stay for 2 nights at the hotel so if i stay at the town area and take a cab to the Great Wall is it very far and how much?0

The Badaling Great Wall is about 45 miles (73 km) from the downtown. By taxi, it costs CNY 500-600 for a round trip.1
