About:China Tourist Visa

I am planning to go to HK and Macao soon. I am also planning to visit Shenzhen.

I have a Philippine Passport. Is it fine that I do not have a fat bank statement? I do have work and can provide other forms proof of my financial state. I have been to other countries that do not require visa for us filipinos. Can I just apply?

Hello, it’s okay because your payment bill, tax receipts or savings accounts passbook can substitute the bank statement. So, you can just apply. Because Philippines passport holders can enter HK freely for not exceeding 14 days and enjoy free entry to Macau for no more than 30 days, you just need to apply for an entry permit to Shenzhen.

Filipinos are not eligible for the VOA for Shenzhen. That's the problem.

You should apply for it ahead of your trip.
