About:China Transit Visa

Do I need to apply for Visa if my transit is less than 24 hours?

I am holding a Malaysian passport with a valid UK student entry permit. I will be flying from Singapore to London, transiting at Beijing. My transit time is 23 hours and I intend to leave the airport to tour around Beijing for a while, do I need a transit permit?

Dear, you don’t need to apply for any entry permit because you are eligible for the 24 hour direct transit. But if you want to tour around during this period, you need to apply for a temporary stay permit at the airport.
