The nearest metro station from your accommodation is Shichahai, but it requires several transfers to forbidden city by rail. So I suggest you take bus instead. From the Courtyard 7, you can walk about 500 yards to Baosha Hutong station to take the bus No. 124 to Gugong (Forbidden City) directly. If taking a taxi, the fare would be no more than CNY20.
