About:Baggage Allowance for Chinese Domestic Flights

Can I bring alcohol as my carry-on baggage while transiting at Guangzhou airport?

I will be flying from New Zealand to Thailand, transit at Baiyun airport. I would like to buy some spirits in duty free shop at Auckland airport. Can I bring them as my carry-on baggage through the airport to my next flight to Vietnam? (I still will be staying at transit lounge while being at Baiyun airport)

Yes, you can take it onboard. But you need to present the receipt of the alcohol indicating that they are bought in duty free shop.
