How long does it take to buy a train ticket? Are queues very long?

It is hard to say the detailed time needed. Sometimes if not many people there, like 10min is Ok. But if you meet a long waiting line, it can be more than 30min. I read from this website that it is advisable to arrive at station about 90min in advance for the whole process from buying ticket to boarding.1
