About:Beijing Capital Airport Shuttle Bus

Public transportation from Beijing Airport to Citytel Inn

I want to know how is the best way, price and security wise, way to go from Pekin airport to Citytel Inn, located in C, D Block, Nanheyan Street, Dongcheng District, Beijing, Beijing, 118305. How much is the price and how long does it take?
And then from this location to Hutong Alleys. How much is the price and how long does it take?
Traveling on a budget and not sure if the taxi will be too expensive.
Thanks,

You can take the airport shuttle bus line 13 to Jinyu Hutong (Peace Hotel), and then walk about 0.6 miles, you will reach your hotel. The bus fare is CNY24, and the travel time is about 45 mins.

Hutong Alleys is not a fixed destination, but a general name for all the local hutongs. The nearest one to your hotel is Jinyu Hutong. Nankoudai and Datianshuijing Hutong are also near. You can reach them just by a few mins walking.

Thanks a lot Jeremy. Sorry to keep asking more questions, but just wondering if those Hutong allies are basically "the same", I heard that it is a good place for shopping local stuff. Is that correct?

Well, to be honest, the scenery of Hutongs are basically same. You are right.
But if you wanna find a place to buy local products, Silk Street is highly recommended. You can bargain with shop keepers. And you find all kinds of local souvenirs there.

Jeremy, you are wonderful. Will keep asking, hope to get more advice. 1)How to go from the hotel then to the Silk street? Hotel is Citytel Inn (at C,D Block, Nanheyan street, Dongcheng District. 2) The fare/ticket for the bus or train can be purchased at the stations or directly with the driver for the shuttle bus?
Thanks a lot in advance.

1. You may walk south for about 328 yards (300 meters) along the Nanheyan Street to the Wangfujing subway station. Take subway line 1 from Wangfujing Station, get off at Jianguomen Station, and leave from Exit B. Then, walk east for about 164 yards (150 meters), and you will find the Silk Street.
2. The subway ticket can be purchased at the station. There are ticket windows there, no worry:)

I hope my advice may help you.
