About:Harbin Attractions

I plan to visit Harbin early Dec. Would it be advisable/easy to move around without a tour guide?

I can speak Chinese. Can we depend on their public transportation? Where is the best place to stay which is almost central to most attractions? Thanks

Since you can speak Chinese, you can move around easily on your own. Going to attractions near the downtown, the public transportation is an ideal choice. And I suggest you live near the railway station or the Central Avenue (Zhongyang Dajie), where you can have easy access to most attractions, transportation and accomodation.
