Multiple Entry Business Visa, interval between each entry

Hello I have a 10 year multiple entry business M type. The duration of stay is 60 days. How long after I exit China I can return? Can I just leave for a day or even a few hours and then return or do I have to stay out of PRC for a specific amount of time?

Hi, Evirus. In fact, you can do that because there is no rule stipulating the specific amount of time between each entry. However, you'd better not do that too frequently because the customs officers may stop you and inquire you.

I have been doing that for 5 months while waiting for a job to be confirmed. As long as you have left China land, taking the next flight back in from whichever city on the very same day is perfectly fine. I took the risk and tried to see if I was gonna be refused entry, but no. Should the immigration officers ever asked about the reason of your stay, just be truthful about it. There is no reason at all to lie about the fact that you have to do that ‘in and out’ trips, whether it is due to personal or visa-related reasons. Keep your valid reasons short and simple. Hope it helps!
