Conference Global Congress of Knowledge economy, can I get the VOA?

I am profesor at Business school and so noticed 48 hours before my travel that I don't have visa. Congress organisation would like to help me to solve it due the fact that I have plenary speech at 2 universities. It's weekend now and I have to fly on Monday. Should I fly or I need to cancel trip . China Embassy in Croatia doesn't work for visa request until Tuesday.
