About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do you have to fly with China Southern Airlines to be granted a 72-Hour Visa Free Transit?

Hi there,
I've been told that only passengers flying with CSA are able to apply for a 72-Hour Free Transit. If I land inwith another airline, let's say Qantas for example, could the transit be refused to me?
Many thanks in advance for your help!
Pauline

Pauline, there is no such a rule. As long as you meet the requirements, you can fly with any airline. However, some airlines might not be familiar with this policy. It's possible that they don't allow you to board the plane. You can download the related documents from any authority websites and show them. If they still don't allow you to fly, then I am afraid that you can only try to apply for entry permit.
