Shanghai: City Sightseeing Bus v Big Bus

Was looking into exploring the city by Hop on Hop off busses. Found two companies but don't know which one is better....

City Sightseeing buses (red buses) are better than any other in the most European Cities. However in the city they are offering only 17 Stops and 2 bus routes, and they do not have map to have visual picture of your route. The operating times are 9am till 21.30

Whereas Big Bus offer 3 bus routes and 22 stops and tickets are valid for 48h however the reviews about the actual commentary on the bus is very poor.... and operating times are 9am-5pm
Have any one tried either of these options and could give their experience please
Thank you!

I would recommend the sightseeing bus you. As you said, it operates longer than the Big Bus. Although it seems to pass less stops, you actually are able to see the major attractions of the city. The route map can be found on the body of the bus. In addition, the costs much less, only CNY30 for unlimited hop-on and hop-off within 24h. I tried it and the service is worth. Oh, you can get the ticket at the booth near each stop or directly from the driver by the way.
