About:China Visa Application in UK

Traveling to China from London in March- spanish passport

Dear Friends
Myself and my husband will be traveling to PRC to visit our son for 2 weeks in March. We gather we have to apply for visas. My husband has got a British passport but mine is Spanish although I live in the UK. Do I have to do anything different?
When do we need to apply?
Regards
Julia Brown

Yes, Julia, you need to do something different because you apply for it in the third country. Except the basic required materials including your passport and its photocopy, application form and your recent bareheaded photo, as well as round trip air tickets and hotel reservations, you also need to prepare the legal residence permit of UK. And you are advised to apply for it in February.
