About:Hong Kong Airport Express

Hi, i was planning to BUY Hong Kong Airport Express Travel Pass

1. is it $HK 300 for a Return Trip from Airport to the City in HK?
2. Any 3 consecutive days* of unlimited travel on the MTR - is this included in the $HK 300? in all lines of MTR?

1. Oh, it is not for the round trip. It just contain two journeys of AE Train.
2. 300 HKD contains 3 days free subway rides. But it doesn't apply to all lines, which exclude AE, East Rail Line First Class, Lo Wu and Lok Ma Chau stations).

Thanks for that clarification ann.. would you recommend us availing the big hus tour or just take the local rail transport? Would the octopus card be the best option for us to take including travel from airport to hk city?

Hi, Margel. You are advised to take the big bus tour so that you can enjoy the street scenes of the city, which is quite leisurely. Also, you can hop on and off freely.

I don't know how long you are to stay in HK. If you are going to stay a long time, the Octopus Card is recommended because you can take MTR, buses, ferries and even go shopping with that. If you will stay for several days, the AE travel pass would be the best option for you. Have fun!
