Dear JHATTONNZ, 1) we normally arrange flight between Urumqi and Kashgar as the train journey takes around 20 hours. However, you can take train instead if you enjoy the train travel. Then take bus from Urumqi to Turpan. From Turpan, you will take high-speed train to Dunhuang and then take flight to Xian. From Xian to Beijing, you can either take flight or high-speed train. 2) we can arrange tours for you at these cities, please contact us by email directly for details when you need it. 3) It is not very easy for visitors to travel in China on their own if they do not speak Chinese. Maybe it is not a problem in Beijing and Xian as they are big international cities. But in Xinjiang, we kindly suggest you join in a tour.
