About:China Visa Application in UK

We need a double entry visa for travel early April, can we get this at the end of November

We are travelling to China early April visiting both Beijing and Shanghai. Due to other commitments we need to get our entry permits earlier than the specified 3 months. We are in London at the end of November and would like to apply at that time. We understand that the double entry permit lasts 6 months so would cover April. Is this allowed?
Also do I get an appointment for each of us or can we both use the same appointment?
Thank you

Julia, Chinese embassy and CVASC centers suggest the applicants should apply around one month ahead of their actual departure date. I think you can apply but it will cause a problem. If you apply successfully, your double entry one will actually be valid for around one month before you enter. Yes, you can enter and stay around 30 days. Then it expires so that your second entry can't be used.

I personally suggest you should follow the embassy's advice to apply one month ahead of your actual departure date.

In UK, you should apply from the CVSAC center. It doesn't matter if you don't make an appointment. You can go there and apply without appointment.
