About:China Transit Visa

15 hour layover for my father

My father scheduled to fly from Houston to MANILA, with 15 hour layover in China. He has a Philippine passport and he's elderly. Can he do a day tour. He will be there during the day. Please advise, thank you

Denise, he can do a day tour in the city. The visa is not needed but he should apply for a temporary stay permit at the airport in order to go outside.
