How to get from Changsha to the new glass suspension bridge?

Hello, I will be in China in December this year and would like to visit the new glass suspension bridge in Shiniuzhai National Park. I already have Changsha and Zhangjiajie on my itinerary and, if I understand well, this new bridge is not that far from Changsha. Could you please indicate how can I get there from Changsha (or from Yueyang, if it’s more convenient) by public transport?
I also heard that the bridge has been closed for the moment for maintenance because of some cracks – are there any news on its re-opening?

Hi, Alno. It is more convenient for you to reach Shiniuzhai from Changsha. You may take a long-distance bus to Shiniuzhai from East Bus Station. The bus departs at 8:00 and 13:40, and the duration is about 2.5 hours. It costs CNY 56.

The glass bridge is open these days. So you can go there to experience the exciting bridge! Have fun.
