Hi, Gary. You are advised to book a hotel in the airport, have a rest, and take a flight to Nanning directly. The first flight departs at 6:25, and the duration is about 1.5 hours.

Alternatively, you may take a taxi to South Railway Station to take a high speed train and the earliest two leave at 7:37 and 7:42. The duration is about 4 hours. The second-class seat costs CNY 169, and the first-class seat costs CNY 202.5. Have a nice trip! :)

Thank you Ruby, :-)
Done some research myself beforehand but your advice is also a helpful.
I'll probably do the train way, flight is booked and so looking forward to arriving in China for the first time in my life. ( I have ALWAYS wanted to go....love Chinese food and the culture, traditions they hold.) After 10 years in Jakarta, there will be a difference...LOL !!

Overnight bus is a possibility......sleep while on the go and more comfortable than the railway station probably...
