About:Slender West Lake

my visa was cancelled at immigration

I was on my way to Hong Kong to apply for a new entry permit when I was stopped and made to wait hours before they lead me out and told me my entry permit was now cancelled and that I need to get a new one. My entry permit in my passport was due to expire in November. Now they said I can't leave China to get a new one but I can't stay in PRC without one. What should I do?

Jess, did they tell you why they cancelled your entry permit? It's very weird. If they really cancelled it, you must leave and apply for a new entry permit.
