How to I go from Xian to 周至县 visit 大秦寺?

Hi, Daqinsi Temple is a very small site, about 70 kilometers from the city center. I believe rare foreigners visit there. And there is no direct bus there. If you want to go there, you can take tourist bus No. 1 at the east square of Big Wild Goose pagoda to reach Louguantai, which is about 3 kilometers to Daqinsi Temple. You can hire a local pedicab or motorbike to the temple. It is not easy for foreigners who can not speak Chinese, so I suggest you hire an English speaking guide and a private car.

Thanks very much for the reply. I just want to pay a short visit (for taking a few photos of myself in it) there. And I do speak Chinese (I am from Hong Kong). Is it safe to hire a cab to go and return? How much is the cost (distance from Days Inn City Center). Thanks again.

hi, it is safe to take a taxi, but I think it will be very expensive as drivers prefer a flat rate for long distance travel. I have no idea of the cost, but if you hire a cab for a whole day, it costs about CNY500.
