has anyone used tina's as a starting point for tiger leaping gorge?

We were wondering if is possible to get to Tina's by car and start trekking from there up to  halfway guesthouse? Would it be to steep?  All the information we found is coming from Naxi Guesthouse and on.  Thanks in advance

Of course. Your plan is good and certainly doable. Hiking from Tina's  to Halfway Guesthouse takes around 3.5h. Some sections are really steep and it is best to prepare an alpenstock. Many people are interested to experience it, so you willl meet many companions on the way. Good trip!
