kunming to lijiang by bus or train

I am from Singapore, may I know taking a public bus or train. which way is shorter and more views?

Oh, taking direct long-distance bus spends shorter time than train. And the scenery along the road is more beautiful. You can take coach at Kunming West Bus Station. By the way, the bus schedules are 08:50, 09:30, 10:30, 10:50, 11:20, 12:10, 12:50, 13:50 and 20:30.
