About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

72 hours visa, am I eligible?

I am going from Lyon, France to Shenzhen, passing by Shanghai. I am staying 6 days in Shenzhen, I wanted to visit Hong Kong, if I do need the free 72 hours free transit, should I ask for it in Shanghai? Thank you kindly!

You can´t use the 72h twov in Shenzhen as the city is not involved in the program.
And a 2nd stop in another chinese city is not allowed.

And you can´t stay 6 days in a city with a 72h twov.

If you wanna visit HK you either need a double entry permit for China to go back to Shenzhen or you can apply in HK for the special Shenzhen VOA, that is good for 5 days.
