About:Adopt Chinese Children

is it possible to adopt here as a single parent?

Hi, i am a foreigner currently living and working on China. I want to find out more about adopting a Chinese orphan as a single parent. Does anyone have any advice on this please? thank you

Natile, you can adopt one child if you meet the requirements. Before you adopt a child, you should prepare required documents listed above. All these documents need to be certified by your Ministry of Foreign Affairs and then authenticated by Chinese embassy in your country.

Since you live in China, you should also provide marital status certificate, profession, income and property certificate issued by your employer, non-criminal record by local PSB and health certificate issued by county-level Chinese hospitals.

And you are required to submit your application and documents via qualified agencies or government. You can't just bring these documents to the CCAA directly.
