arriving air china to beijing

My tickets are booked with Air china from Vancouver Canada to Beijing China to Chiang Mia Thailand. only have a 1 hour and 30 min to transfer for  Chiang Mia flight with Air china. Are Air China flights all in same terminal will it be possible to make connection. Do we have to take shuttles to get to different gates.

Yes, both these two flights are in T3. You don't need to take the shuttle bus. The situation belongs to International to International Transfer. Generally speaking, the mimimum transfer time is about an hour. So it's suggested to complete the procedures as soon as possible.
