i'm wondering about the meaning of total tourists arrivals.

Question

Does it mean to involve the number of people who just stay at the airport to transfer to  other airplane? I would like to know which type of tourists are included in Total tourist arrivals.

Lucia, total tourist arrivals include foreign visitors and those who are from Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. And these visitors can be classified into two types: overnight and non-overnight.
