About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Am I eligible for the 72 hour free VISA?

Hi! My flight from Ho Chi Minh (SGN) arrives on March 1, 2016 7am at Shanghai (PVG). And my flight out of Shanghai going to Canada is on March 4 at 6pm. Am I eligible for the 72 hour free transit?
Thank you.

Yes, you are eligible for it. In Shanghai, the 72-hour free stay periond starts from the following day after your arrival, so your layover is not beyond 72 hours.
