where to get a ferry ticket exactly?

Question

Last year opt to got to the Gulangyu, we went to the ticket counter and they don't sell any ticket for us only for Xiamen residence only. We are asked to go to the other ticket area including the International Ferry terminal. We tried to talked to the ticket counter and yet they don't want to. Where is the exact ticket counter and how could we say it in Mandarin so we could show they what we want. We are planning to go back again by the end of this year, please assist us.

Hi, Noel. The ferry wharves for daytime cruise are the Xiagu Wharf at no. 2 on Donggang Road in Huli District and the No. 1 Ferry Wharf at no. 29 on Xiazhu Road in Siming District. The night cruise wharf is the Lundu Wharf at no. 15 on Lujiang Road. You may show the note to the counter: 你好，我想买到鼓浪屿的船票，谢谢。

I was there on November 5, this must be the latest information. Ferry tickets between Youlun matou/ Xia men side and Santian matou/ GLY island round ticket costs CNY35.Free admission at 5 points as above information  costs CNY100, which available at Youlun matou.

I don't want to go on cruise. I already went to this island for several times during the 90's and I know the area on where to go but they change the way in getting the tickets.I already told them what you have said 你好，我想买到鼓浪屿的船票，谢谢。 but they still insist they don't allow.The last time I was there, going to the island, is a 7-minute ferry ride across the harbor from Xiamen Ferry Terminal. It is free on the outward journey and CNY8 for the way back, CNY4 at privilege time. No hassle. Could someone help me out. I will be going back this coming July 2016

1. During the daytime, you can buy the ferry ticket from Dongdu Port or from Haicang Songyu Port. A single trip takes about 20 minutes. The fare is CNY35 to 50 for a round trip.2. During nighttime, you can buy the ferry ticket from XM Ferry Dock. The trip takes 7 to 8 minutes. The fare is CNY 30 to 35 for the round-trip.The official website doesn't have English version. So just buy the tickets when you arriving there.

Is that the one near (walking distance ) zhongsan road?  I went there in the afternoon then unfortunately they point us to the international port. Unfortunately it wasted our time going back and forth just looking for the ticket counter.Will that be only during daytime they sell the tickets?
