How to get to east peak of Mt. Huashan?

Hi. I will be arriving Xian north railway station around 1pm. I intend to place my luggage with the baggage counter at the station and take a train to the mountain and stay overnight at the east peak to catch the sunrise the next morning. So how long will it take for me to climb to east peak from the bottom ? And do you think my itinerary is workable ? Thank you .

Yes, your route is available.
East Peak is regarded as the best place to see the sunrise. Then you can tour around South Peak and West Peak. After touring around, you are suggested to take the cable car to the mountain foot. In this way, you can see the impressive overall scenery of the mountain.

You are suggested to start from Yuquan Temple. Generally speaking, it will spend 6 to 7 hours to climb to the East Peak.
