Apply to working visa in Hong Kong

Hi, is it possible to go to Hong Kong to apply for working Z type even if now I have a tourist L type for China? My employer is going to give me the invitation letter for it, of course

I personally think it's very difficult to get it from HK as you have no HK residency permit. Anyway, if you do the application with the help of an agency, the process may be smoother. You can try first to change the L type to Z type within mainland. If you fail to do that, contact an agency in HK and see if it can give some useful advice.
