Shanghai to Tongli watertown & The Humble's Administration Garden

Hi, I will be staying near People's Square, may I know which is the best way to go to Tongli Watertown & The Humble's Administration Garden for day trip? By bus or High Speed Train? Kindly advise.

You are suggested to take the bullet train.
From People's Square, take subway line 1 to get to Main Railway Station first. Then take high-speed train to get to Suzhou Railway Station. After that, there are many direct coach that can take you to Tongli Ancient Town.
After touring aroung, come back to the railway station and take a taxi to the garden directly. The cab fare is CNY 10 to 20.
