Sri Lankan Passport holder to Hong Kong

Hello,
I am a Sri Lankan Passport holder, working and residing in Sri Lanka.
I plan to visit Hong Kong for 4-5 days on holiday, mid Nov 2015. Is it possible to get the tourist visa to Hong Kong from the Embassy of China? How long does it take to process and issue, if all documentation is complete.
Thank you

Hi Mr. Bandara, it's possible to apply for the HK entry permit through the PRC embassy in your country. You can submit all the documents to the consular office and they may transfer your application to HK government. If the consular office its own deals with your application, the process takes four working days only. However, if the application is mailed to HK, you need to wait for four to six weeks.
