I have no idea of your budget for accommodation, so here is just my general suggestion. The Days Inn Forbidden City at no. 1, Nanwanzi, Nanyanhe Street, can be a good choice. It is close to Wangfujing Pedestrian Street and Tiananmen Square/Forbidden City and the services are fine. If booking in advance, you may get some discounts.

I can see that you wanna see as most as possible during the trip. I suggest you join a tour. Then your travel agency would arrange all attractions, accommodation, transportation and some dining.
