About:Mutianyu Great Wall

Planning to go Mutianyu tomorrow. More about the sled?

Does anyone know far down the sleds go down? Does it cover the distance of the cable cars? We could go up to the wall via the cable cars and then return via the sleds?

The cable is about 600 yards long and takes about 5 minutes for a singl ride. The sled is about 1,730 yards long and the duration changes according to one's speed. Of course you can go up the wall by cable and down by sled. Have fun~

The sledway goes all the way down and it is fun! Regarding the H buses, they are currently not running to north street at this time due to roadworks! We got caught out with this and we had to take a licensed taxi to the wall and then a dodgey unlicensed taxi back haikaru bus statiion because there are starngely no licensed taxis at the wall. My partner Sara will be posting with a better review of what happend later.

Kevin, I havent been there yet. I also looked some information about this, you should try youtube, u'll find full videos of people going down on the slideway, seems to be ok.
If your are taking H# buses after 916 bus could you take a picture from the bus stop on Huairou North Street? That's the only think I still have doubt.
