What parts are there to a Chinese wedding?

I am travelling from Canada to attend a Chinese wedding. I have no idea what a traditional Chinese wedding is about. Can you help me with information about a Chinese wedding?
Thank you for your help. Terry

Terry, today's Chinese wedding is a mixture of traditional Chinese and western elements. The bride and groom seldom wear traditional Chinese costumes at their weddings. Instead, suits and wedding gowns are preferred. However, they still observe some old traditions, such as "three letters and six etiquettes" mentioned in this article.

On the wedding day, the groom together with his "helpers" go to the bride's home to pick up his future wife. But it's not an easy job. The bride also have helpers to make difficulties for the groom. They hide the bride's shoes and don't open the door. Then the groom send red envelopes to bribe the helper to open the door. When he enters the room, he still needs to send out red envelopes again to get the shoes. Usually, there is a special episode. The groom and the bride eat noodles/poached eggs together and then the groom wears the bride the shoes and takes her to the wedding car. Finally they go back to their home, unload the bride's dowry and then head for the restaurant where a big feast is prepared for all the guests.

Before the guests enjoy the feast, a wedding ritual is done with the help of emcee. When the ritual ends, the guests start to eat. The groom and the bride propose toasts to every guest. When the wedding banquet finishes, all the guests left. The climax comes on the wedding night. The friends and relatives of the groom and the bride come to make fun of them. No matter what their friends do, the groom and the bride shouldn't be angry. If possible, you should take a chance to witness this. Really hilarious!
