About:Chinese Consulate in Los Angeles

No permanent address in the US

I am an american citizen, currently a college student and since my parents live abroad, I have no permanent address in the US.
I was told I could not have a visa for visiting china without a permanent address and no proof of address. my college adress is not written on my enrollment certificate.

is it true?

Valy, I haven't heard about this. It's not required you have to have a permanent address in the US if you apply from there.
