About:Dujiangyan Panda Base

visit Dujiangyan Panda Base in december

how far is the base from airport ? Is it open in third week of december? We shall arrive at chengdu airport at 10 am. can we take a taxi direct from airport to the base? How much time is enough to visit the base ?

It is about 42 miles from the airport and it will be open in the third week of December. Don’t worry about that. In the airport, you can find taxis available, and the travel time is about 1.5 hours. I heard the fare shall be CNY500-800.
At last, it is suggested to spend 3-4 hours in the base for a good experience.
