About:How to Choose China Train Ticket Types?

I will travel with my 5 year old son. Do I need to book 1 seat or 2 for us?

The child under 120cm can share the seat or beds with adult and board for free. If between 120cm and 150cm, the child need to buy the child ticket and will have the own seat or beds. Usually child ticket enjoy 50% off discount for seat and 25% off for beds. These are for the domestic routes only.
