Hi, I'm Lithuanian passport holder traveling from USA to PRC - can I get visa in China's airport?

Or do I need to contact embassy in states?

Well, if you are eligible for the 72-hour free transit policy, you don't need the entry permit. If you want to stay in PRC for more than 72 hours, you need to get a G type entry permit in advance at the PRC embassy.

It is not recommended to do so if you have no HK residency. You can apply from your home country or the country where you live now.
