About:Chinese Embassy in U.K.

Birth permit

I'm from the United Kingdom and my partner is from Guangzhou China she is expecting our baby but she goes on about a birth permit now I'm going through a divorce at the mo to get things ready so we can get married is there another way around this as I don't think my divorce will be done in time I've tried calling the Chinese Embassy in London but they don't answer their phones is there any other City she can go to to give birth or does she need this birth permit our baby will be born 26th of March 2016 need help and advice

Hi, Mark! If you want to apply British citizenship for the baby, you don't need the birth permit.
