About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Applying for double entry visa more than 3 months in advance

We will be applying for a multiple entry permit to China, as I understand that this will be valid for 6 months, in February 2016 before we leave home on a round the world trip. We will not be in PRC until July. Will this be acceptable as I have just read that you may not apply more than 3 months before entry into PRC. Please can someone clarify this for us? Thank you

Sue, I think you can still apply for the six-month double entry or multiple entry type. Regular tourist L type entry permit is only valid for three months, that is why applicants are suggested to apply within three months before the departure. For long-term one, I think you try to apply earlier.
