UK citizen needs Chinese entry permit whilst in Japan

I am a UK citizen in Japan 2 weeks before visiting China. Shall I use the CVASC website to fill in the forms? Or are they different from embassy's in Japan?

Does the embassy in Tokyo give visas?

George, you can use the CVASC website to fill in the application form. It's the same as that of the consular office in Japan. The consular office in Tokyo gives PRC entry permits for non-Japanese citizens if they have legal stay permit or residence permit there.
