About:Beijing City Bus

Where can I find the van to Mutianyu Great Wall?

Based on my research, I could take Bus 916 (Express) to go to Huirao Bus Station. How much is the bus fare to get there? Where can I find the private van to hire to bring my family to Mutianyu Great Wall of China? How much usually is the cost (per way) and can 6 adults fit in the van? Do you recommend me to hire it roundtrip or just one way?

The 916 Bus ticket fare is about CNY 12 per person.
It’s easy for you to hire a van to Mutianyu upon arrival at Huairou. There will be many locals offering the ride. No worry. And a van can easily accommodate you six. But just don’t expect too much about the van; they are just the local brand. Usually, it takes about CNY50-80 for a single-trip.

For th return trip to Huairou, you’d better make a reservation with the driver who send you there. It will save you trouble.
