Upon arrival at the railway station, walk about 0.8 miles along Tongjiang Avenue to the neighboring WX Bus Station, where you can take the direct bus to Yixing. From 05:40 to 19:30, there are about 110 buses available. The bus fare is CNY18-25. The duration is about 1 hour.
