1. The distance is about 7.5 miles.
2. It's about 31 miles.
3. From Central Station to Wong Tai Sin Temple, you can take Tsuen Wan Line, get off at Mong Kok Station. Then transfer to Kwun Tong Line to Wong Tai Sin Station, Exit B3. It takes around half and hour. The ticket fare is 13.8 HKD per person.
From Wong Tai Sin Temple to the Big Buddha, take Kwun Tong Line to Prince Edward Station. Then transfer to Tsuen Wan Line to Lai King Station and Tung Chung Line to Tung Chung Station, Exit A. The whole way takes around 50 mins. It costs 16.5 HKD per person. After that, take the cable car to arrive at the Big Buddha directly.
